My name is Laura, and I am a qualified, registered and experienced counsellor. Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked predominantly in education and leadership, including periods of working abroad.  

 

I offer a free 15-minute consultation online or on the telephone, prior to commencing paid sessions with a new client.

 

I offer individual and relationship counselling. Sessions last for 50 minutes and can take place at the same time each week, or we can discuss a more flexible arrangement.  Individual counselling costs £55 per session; relationship counselling costs £75 per session.

I am fully qualified, insured and registered with the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) – this means I adhere to their Code of Ethics and my qualifications are nationally recognised. Additionally, I regularly participate in supervision and continuing professional development to ensure my skills and knowledge are up to date.

 

I’m an integrative counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that no single method fits everyone, so I draw from different therapeutic approaches and perspectives. This includes Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA), tailoring my work to suit your unique needs and experiences. As well as my private practice, I volunteer at some local mental health charities.
